Little Ginger Snaps is 8 weeks old today. Her undercoat is getting lighter and her black tips now serve as her highlights around her face, ears and on her feet and tail. She is the smallest of the litter at 2 pounds 1 ounce. (But don’t tell her she is small!! She can keep up with her two sisters and all three brothers!!)

Olly is a very playful fellow!!
Olly is the litter clown. He is always the first to initiate a new new game or try something new. He loves to look around the play pen, just in case there is something he missed. He loves to be held and is a very sweet little guy. His coat is rich and full and he, like his brother Gilly, is a picture perfect Parti-Mix. He will be ready for his new family in mid-March.

Ginger Snaps is a pretty little Brindle!
Ginger Snaps is a beautiful Brindle. Her undercoat is light and may be a carmel and the black tips will remain as a stunning highlight. She is much like her Poppa “Poppie”. She is smaller than her three brothers, but quite able to hold her own. She is eating dry food and still nursing a bit so she will be ready for her new home by mid-March!

Caly is still small but at 7 weeks, “she’s a big girl now!”
Caly is the petite girl of her litter. She is very snuggly and loves to be held. She can also hold her own with the biggest of her brothers. She loves to explore and is not afraid to try new things. Her markings of a white underside and black cape make her a perfect Irish Pied. She is a very elegant little girl!!

Gilly is seven weeks old now!
Gilly is now 7 weeks old. He remains a very gentle spirit, but he loves to play. His beautiful Havanese silky coat has come in full and soft. He is now eating dry puppy food but still nurses a couple of times a day. Momma Gracie will have him fully weaned in a few days. He will be ready for his new family in mid-March.

Olly is a character, already!
This alert little guy has figured out how to sit back on his haunches, take a look around and give out a little baby “bark”! He is strong and loves to move around, but he is also very calm and snuggly. He is the smallest of the three brothers weighing 1 pound 5 ounces, but he is not about to be left behind!! One loveable little puppy!

Ginger is turning light in her undercoat.
Ginger’s dark brindle highlights give her a very dramatic look. Her undercoat is turning light, cream or carmel, just as we predicted. We expect her to resemble her sire, Poppy, her sister Dandi and brother Jazz from past litters. She is the largest of the females and weighs 1 pound 4 ounces. Baby weight at this age is no guarantee of adult size. Momma Gracie has normally had all of her pups weighing nearly the same by the time they are ready to go to their forever homes!!

“Rose” Bud just gets more handsome!!
Bud is the largest of his litter at 1 pound 8 ounces. He is also a wonderfully cuddly little guy! His strength and coordination is developing each day and he is becoming very mobile. The champaign highlights on the side of his face extends onto his ears. This creats a very dramatic and sweet effect. (He melts my heart!)

Caly is up and at ’em!!
Caly remains the smallest of her litter. She weighed in at 1 pound 2 ounces.
This has, in no way, slowed her down. She was the first of the three girls to be up on her feet and she is navigating around the whelping pan as if she has been on her feet for weeks. She is very snuggly and loves to fall asleep next to my heart while I work on the computer. (I’m falling in love!)

Gilly is on his feet at 3 weeks.
We thought Gilly would just stay put inside the fancy heart, but we were wrong.
He looked around and took off for a “walk about” over the edge and all around the table.
I think he is looking for his forever family for Valentine’s Day!
He weighed in at 1 pound 6 ounces.
He has also learned to bark! He is a big boy now!!!
